我读过的、感觉比较好的有两部：
一个是杰克.伦敦的《马丁.伊登》。
在事业与爱情两方面都励志，又不止于励志，还很深刻。
故事本身很简单：一个穷得叮当响的年轻水手，疯狂地爱上了上流社会的、比他大四岁的女子。这个上流社会的女子开始也爱上了这个底层的“原始”“小鲜肉”，但阶级差异的存在，使他们的爱情难以为继。为此，马丁伊登艰苦奋斗，熬过漫长的绝望期后，终成名作家，终于赢得了心中人的芳心！但是，走上人生巅峰的马丁伊登，不仅爱情消失殆尽，甚至失去了活下去的欲望，投水自尽——一个水手，居然投水自尽了！
《马丁伊登》的励志是不言而喻的，但它之所以成为名著更在于对阶级差异、个人奋斗（所谓“美国梦”）、爱情观等方面进行了深刻的哲学思考，让人兴奋、慨叹，又让人深思。
另一部是玛格丽特. 米切尔的《乱世佳人》（或译《飘》）
一个生活无忧的、整日被身边所有年轻帅哥环绕的十七岁小姑娘斯嘉丽，生活突然被战争打破，几乎失去了一切：父母、情人、上流社会的地位，也许更加要命的是还失去了漂亮的服饰，甚至食物！原来只能披上舞衣的双肩、只能戴上戒指的双手，突然要担负起养育全家的重担！她居然成功地担起来了！
