1、stop有让某人停下的意思，强调执行人，有时有要求怎么怎么做的涵义，
cease就是自己停止。比如说别抽烟了,我们能用stop smoking，却不能用cease。
2、cease 用语抽象事物（看不见摸不着的东西），比如 cease fire，The noise ceased；
stop 用语具象事物：The engine stopped. Stop him！
3、cease正式完全彻底的停止，分为to do 和doing；
