　　people与person的区别在于指定的对象不同。

　　person通常指特定的＂某个人＂，具有独立指定性；而people通常指＂某群人＂，＂某个有相似特征的人的团体＂，甚至＂某个民族＂，指定的对象范围更大，而且多于一个人。

　　1、单复数含义不同

　　person是个体名词，它泛指man，woman或child中的任何一个，其复数形式是persons，但人们习惯用 people代替persons。

　　people作“人”讲时，是集合名词，表复数概念.说“一个人”时，不用people。当表示两个以上的人时，可用people。
