我的nook2值得root吗
我用nook2一年多，根据你的情况看，你还是需要root的。
1、root后安装浏览器才可以上学校官网，原生系统无法在网上随意浏览。
2、root以后你装个office软件，word文件不但可以查看，还可以编辑。不过ppt的在nook2上目前还不行。
3、word转pdf，我猜你是需要保留文件中图片吧。如果纯文字形式的，完全可以转成epub格式，你要是会一点网页编辑，epub格式（实际就是网页）文件经过美化，看书就变成了一种惬意享受。
如果你这个弄的比较熟了，word转成epub也可以啊。或者用pdf viewer看pdf文件，可以自定义放大功能。
至于闪屏问题，看epub格式的文件，或者用coolreader软件看txt文件，都可以很好解决这个问题。（因为可以设置刷新的频率）。耗电嘛基本不在考虑范围内，总不可能24小时一直抱着电纸书，觉得电量好的差不多了就充电，或者是晚上睡前充电，第二天看一整天肯定没问题。
另外nook2也可以边充电边看书（在用充电器充电的情况下）。
