  rRNA mRNA tRNA的区别

  核糖体RNA (ribosomal RNAs,rRNAs) 约占RNA总量的 80%,它们与蛋白质结合构成核糖体的骨架。核糖体是蛋白质合成的场所,所以rRNAs的功能是作为核糖体的重要组成成分参与蛋白质的生物合成。rRNAs是细胞中含量最多的一类RNA,且分子量比较大,代谢都不活跃,种类仅有几种,原核生物中主要有5S rRNAs、16S rRNAs和23S rRNAs三种,真核生物中主要有5S rRNAs、5.8S rRNAs、18S rRNAs和28S rRNAs四种。

  信使RNA(messenger RNAs,mRNAs),约占RNA总量的5%。mRNAs是以DNA为模板合成的,又是蛋白质合成的模板。它是携带一个或几个基因信息到核糖体的核酸。由于每一种多肽都有一种相应的mRNAs,所以细胞内mRNAs是一类非常不均一的分子。但就每一种mRNAs的含量来说又十分低。这也解释了为什么mRNAs的发现比rRNAs与tRNAs要迟。

  转移RNAs (transfer RNAs,tRNAs) 约占RNA总量的15%。tRNAs的分子量在2.5×104左右,由70~90个核苷酸组成,因此它是最小的RNA分子。它的主要功能是在蛋白质生物合成过程中把mRNA的信息准确地翻译成蛋白质中氨基酸顺序的适配器(adapter)分子,具有转运氨基酸的作用,并以此氨基酸命名。此外,它在蛋白质生物合成的起始作用中,在DNA反转录合成中及其他代谢调节中也起重要作用。细胞内tRNA的种类很多,每一种氨基酸都有其相应的一种或几种tRNA。
