砂锅（外文名：Casseroles【1】）是一种炊具。传统砂锅是由不易传热的石英、长石、粘土等原料配合成的陶瓷制品，经过高温烧制而成，具有通气性，吸附性，传热均匀，散热慢等特点。依靠砂锅的菜谱有砂锅鸡、砂锅豆腐、砂锅鱼头等。
由于制作工艺与原料问题，传统砂锅不耐温差变化，容易炸裂，不能干烧。针对传统砂锅的这一问题，近十年，经过研发改良后，在原料上加入了锂辉石，制造出耐高温砂锅，使得砂锅保持原有优点的情况下，还能够承受数百度高温干烧而不裂，大大提高了砂锅的实用性。
不锈钢锅防范措施：
1、在已知可能发生点蚀的环境中选择恰当的不锈钢材质，实验表明钼元素（Mo）或锰元素（Mn）含量越高的不锈钢，抵抗点蚀的能力就越强；
2、控制与不锈钢接触液体的酸碱度，氯化物浓度以及温度；
3、阴极保护，阳极保护或者同时采取这两种保护措施；
