当代艺术与现代艺术有什么异同？
当代艺术与现代艺术的异同
艺术的种类有很多，就以绘画艺术来举例说明
当代艺术与现代艺术的异同之处，
所谓“异同”就是相同之处与不同之处，艺术是一个继承传承的过程，所以每个时代的艺术都有相同之处，而且每种流派风格的油画艺术都是“你中有我、我中有你”的相交关系，并不是完全独立存在的，
艺术来源于生活，完全脱离生活的艺术是不存在的，所以
当代艺术与现代艺术的相同之处是都以“生活”为载体，表现生活主题，
这生活包括了社会状况和个人生活，无论是当代艺术作品，还是现代艺术作品都会反映社会状况和人们的思想精神，很简单的道理，艺术作品要有核心内容，并不是只有表象，没有深度。
我们都知道，艺术除了继承传承之外，还要追求创新，从时间来讲，
当代艺术在现代艺术的基础上进行创新，因为创新，所以会存在不同之处，就油画艺术而言，不同之处在于画风，
现代艺术是抽象主义，这种风格不模仿现实生活，而是由形式、形状和色彩组成，独立于主题之外；
而当代艺术是抽象表现主义，多了“表现”两个字，就有很大区别了，它是为了情感的表达效果把色彩、形状、尺寸和形式扭曲，而且主题的情感非常强烈。也许有人会说，当代艺术中有超写实主义油画，现代艺术是抽象派油画，这两者有什么关联吗？
艺术是相通的
，更何况同种类艺术的不同流派风格。
当代超写实主义油画以具象的“照片”为标准，客观反映生活，然而现代抽象派油画是以画家个人思想为主题，表现的是主观意识。前后两者的“具象”与“抽象”，“客观”与“主观”就是两者最达的不同之处。简单的讲，当代艺术和现代艺术的异同之处，都和时代人们的审美有关。
