Leo Sayer，男，出生于1948年5月，英国著名创作歌手。于1974年出道。
1976年，当英国创作歌手李欧赛耶（Leo Sayer）信心满满的带着自己所谱写的十二首歌曲，前去拜访著名的制作人理察派瑞（Richard Perry），希望大师能够出马，担任他新专辑制作人的时候，根本没有想到派瑞竟然会告诉他，那些歌曲没有任何一首能用的。对于以创作才华起家、曾经帮资深摇滚巨星罗杰达尔屈（Roger Daltrey）谱写过不少歌曲的他来说，这真的是相当无情的打击。但是，所谓「塞翁失马，焉知非福」，派瑞另外帮他找的歌曲，却让他登上了歌唱事业的最高峰。
