然而，随着不断的挑战，不停的胜利，越来越多的问题也涌现出来，直到，遇到了被公认为天下第一的大师，看起来人畜无害的大师只是重病躺倒在床便让他怎么也无法胜过，之后武藏开始怀疑起自己的目标，为什么成为天下一以及成为第一之后又能怎样？
之后的武藏开始收敛自身的野兽般的杀气，也远远的看着自己喜欢的女孩子，心里祝福她，开始了更多的挑战。
直到遇到佐佐木小次郎，这个比武藏更有剑道天赋的男人，因为种种缘故，两人必有一战。但漫画还没画到，是个重大遗憾。
总的来说，画风还是写实，背景，人物心理，成长，追寻剑道的意义，都是这部漫画大大的亮点，还有最动人的就是人物的眼神，看着长发的武藏就像看这樱木再战国时代的凶猛，两人的眼神如出一辙。有时候真的怀疑是樱木花道穿越了。
喜欢灌篮高手的同学千万不能放过这部漫画，不仅是有熟悉的影子，更是这部漫画真的很nice。
