　　不是。

　　事实上，太阳系几大行星的西方命名均是用罗马神话中神祇的名字来命名的，但因为原有的五颗行星（金木水火土）中文中早就有命名，就延用了原有的中文名，而新发现的就用了西方的命名翻译（意译）。

　　金星：Venus，维纳斯，爱与美神（希腊神话中的阿佛洛狄忒）

　　木星：Jupiter，朱庇特，众神之王（希腊神话中的宙斯）

　　水星：Mercury，墨丘利，商业之神/骗子之神（希腊神话中的赫耳墨斯）

　　火星：Mars，玛尔斯，战神（希腊神话中的阿瑞斯）

　　土星：Saturn，萨图尔努斯/萨图恩，农神（希腊神话中的克洛诺斯，宙斯的父亲）

　　天王星：Uranus，乌拉诺斯，宇宙之神（希腊神话中的乌拉诺斯，克洛诺斯的父亲，宙斯的祖父）

　　海王星：Neptune，涅普顿，海神（希腊神话中的波塞冬）

　　所以，冥王星和冥界没啥联系。只不过是命名的时候参照了之前的命名规则而已。要说自然环境，冥王星到是接近中国传统上的冥界，而金星更像西方传统上的地狱。
