怎样正确地理解Less is More？
苏格拉底从热闹的集市回来，人们问他的感受，他说：我此行最大的收获是，原来世界上还有那么多我不需要的东西。Less is more. 是我非常赞同并努力坚持的理念。人的一生短暂，不能沉迷世俗，应该有所追求。追求美好的事物、高尚的境界，力求做一个更有利于社会的人。有欲则有所求，但欲望太多，也会变得贪婪，甚至无度而丧失了自我。大家都很敬佩的杨绛先生在物质上就是Less is more 的楷模，二在追求知识上她却是从不满足。放眼世界，我常常感到困惑：为什么人们每天津津乐道是买房子、买名牌？为什么那么多年轻女子甘愿做人家的情人小三？为什么患难过的夫妻不能有福同享？为什么那么多黑心的商家卖着假冒的甚至有毒的商品？为什么道貌岸然的官员们会贪污受贿、欺上瞒下、买官卖官、欺男霸女？……欲望已经满溢了！！对金钱、地位、奢侈的追求已经使很多人丧失了灵魂。我很想说，买一套房就够住了；儿孙的物质享受让他们自己去创造；做人要守信、有道德、守法规、尊重生命，少比物质、多谈精神。Less is more.！
