《Love is Gone》是一首由吉他和音开始的ROCK BALLAD曲。到了高音部的地方加入了和声。作曲第一次由绵贯正顕来作。歌词比较黑暗，以男性的视觉来写的。虽然歌词的第一人称是「仆」、第二人称是「君」，但电视剧主题曲的版本却变成了第一人称的「私」以及第二人称的「あなた」。虽然长时间未被收录进专辑，但被重新编曲成POP风格后第一次收录进了ZARD Request Best ～beautiful memory～。
说来这首歌哪里都不算出众，不过听来却比较喜欢，或许是仅仅从歌词的角度来考虑的吧——为爱而伤的女性跃然纸上，和《Good-bye My Loneliness》一样，也是姐姐少有的悲观主义格调的歌词，或许这样反过来的主题也能给人力量的吧。
