劳动节英语演讲稿?
Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies, and gentlemen,
I am honored to speak to you today on this special occasion of Labor Day. Labor Day is a time to celebrate the contributions and achievements of workers all over the world. It is a day to reflect on the struggles and sacrifices that have been made in the pursuit of fair wages, safe working conditions, and workers rights.
The first Labor Day celebration took place on September 5, 1882, in New York City. It was organized by the Central Labor Union to recognize the contributions of workers to the prosperity and well-being of the nation. Today, Labor Day is celebrated in countries all around the world, each with its own unique history and traditions.
As we gather here today, we must remember that the struggle for workers rights is far from over. We must continue to fight for fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to collective bargaining. We must stand up for the rights of workers everywhere, whether they are in our own country or across the globe.
On this Labor Day, let us honor the workers who came before us and fought for the rights we enjoy today. Let us also recognize the workers who continue to fight for justice and equality in the workplace. And let us commit ourselves to the ongoing struggle for workers rights and a more just and equitable society for all.
Thank you.
