我的理解,物质的软硬程度与该物质的空间拓扑结构和原子的外层电子分布等相关。其结构越稳定,改变其结构需要付出的能量越大,物质越坚硬。印象最深的是科幻**三体中的“水滴”,无坚不摧。
书中写到:因水滴由强相互作用力材料构成。到最后核子之间相互锁定,所以就不存在分子运动了,导致水滴的表面完全隔热,并且温度一直保持在绝对零度。同时表面也绝对光滑,足以反射一切电磁波。水滴比太阳系中已知的任何物质都要坚硬不知多少倍,水滴穿过地球就像是子弹打豆腐一样不费吹灰之力。
物质软硬程度的微观机制是怎样的?
我认为是由物质表面电子的能量融合挥发率决定的,即物质表面电子的能量融合挥发率与硬度正相关。
电子都结合着离(热)性能量,离性能量的密度是与质子坎性(质量)约束力度正相关的。由于电子结合的离性能量受到质子坎性约束力与原子核的距离具有反相关性,而且每个电子携带的离性能量受到的坎性约束力是相对固定的,所以当电子吸收的离性能量较多(超越坎性约束力度)时,一是会表现温度升高,二是会表现硬度下降、甚至熔化成液态或汽化为气态、乃至变成等离子态。
