I. 莫斯科
在老一辈人心中，莫斯科自然会让人联想起列宁、共产主义老大哥，还有《莫斯科郊外的晚上》“深夜花园里四处静悄悄······”
作为俄罗斯古都，莫斯科的建筑比较有俄罗斯传统风情，比如作为地标的红场、克里姆林宫建筑群和瓦西里大教堂。
不过这些打卡的大景点也就那样，尤其是瓦西里大教堂“外强中干”。深度玩莫斯科一定不能错过的是莫斯科地铁站。
莫斯科地铁站号称地下宫殿，很多人认为的世界上最惊艳的地铁站，这些漂亮的地铁站多数修建于前苏联斯大林和勃列日涅夫时代，也是“苏联帝国”集权主义时代的象征。

值得注意的是，莫斯科地铁线长度据称为世界第六，站点很多，不是每个地铁站都很惊艳，重点推荐的是共青团站、马雅科夫斯基站、塔甘卡站、基辅站、新村庄站、发电厂站，所幸多数颜值高的站都在5号环线上。

另外还需要提醒的是，地铁也是莫斯科市民日常出行的主要交通工具之一，人流量虽然不比北上，但高峰时期也是人潮涌动，想拍照一定要挑选好时间。
在莫斯科时间充足建议去郊外的科洛姆纳庄园和周边的金环小镇走走，比较著名的几个金环小镇是雅罗斯拉夫尔、谢尔盖耶夫、弗拉基米尔、苏兹达尔、罗斯托夫。这些都是俄罗斯和莫斯科甚至比莫斯科历史更悠久的古城，但没有变得像莫斯科这样现代。不过如果不是对历史和建筑特别有兴趣，挑一两个看看即可，因为风格都比较类似，感兴趣的就全部撸下来吧。

II. 圣彼得堡
相比于莫斯科，圣彼得堡可看的会更多一些。圣彼得堡是俄罗斯境内最像西欧的城市，18世纪初彼得大帝从瑞典手中夺取了涅瓦河入海口，并在入海口处按照西欧城市的模样修建了这座崭新的都城。圣彼得堡有种类似于巴黎的城市风格，但又比巴黎多了威尼斯一样的运河。
尽管圣彼得堡不过300多年的历史，但这里的历史建筑远比任何一座俄罗斯城市保存得都要完好，市中心沿着大街和运河绵延着18-19世纪的宫殿、教堂、剧院、桥梁和普通房屋，原汁原味地保留了沙皇时代俄罗斯京城的风貌。
圣彼得堡的精彩在于它的故事和历史：叶卡捷琳娜大帝修建了第一座俄罗斯女子学院斯莫尔尼宫。
