斯诺克自由球规则以前就有吗？

自由球概念
先看官方规则：After a foul,if the cue-ball is snookered(see Section 2,Rule 17),the referee shall state FREE BALL.
翻译过来就是在一方球员因犯规造成目标球形成斯诺克时，裁判需判自由球。目标球形成斯诺克是指目标球无法完全穿过（能看到但母球过不来也不行）目标球的两个薄边。
自由球的判罚规则
在获得自由球时，击球的选手可以将台面上的任一非活球作活球击打，按活球分值计分。 活球是指规则允许能首先被母球击打的目标球。
注意：单局限时赛自由球母球可任意摆放。
为什么这里说到活球这么绕口的概念呢？因为这里涉及台面上有红球和无红球的情况。如有红球，可将任一彩球当红球击打并计1分，然后再击打彩球；若台面无红球，可将任一彩球当台面最低分值彩球打，然后彩球归位继续击打。
自由球中的特殊情况
1.不能利用指定球做斯诺克，简单说就是把黄球当红球打的时候不能利用黄球做斯诺克，否则会被判犯规，如果力度不大很容易反送对手一个自由球（台面只剩粉、黑球时除外）。
2.必须首先击中指定球，同时击中都会被判犯规。
3.如母球击中指定球，或首先同时击中指定球与活球，且把活球撞进袋，则记录活球分数，另活球不必拿出。
4.若指定球与活球同时落袋，只记活球分值，除非指定球为红球，当每个球进袋，应记其分值。指定球取出，活球不取。（这里还是涉及红球和彩球）
